Jeff McDonald

“Jeff McDonald began his career in controls as a teenager doing installations. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2002, he moved into the more technical side of the business, leading programming and startups of projects of all sizes. He came to CTI in 2006 and was named Technical Manager in the Massachusetts branch in 2011. In 2019, he was tapped as the CTO to lead the Standards development project and build a Central Programming team to unify all the branches’ programming efforts. He is an avid problem solver and is constantly learning. He loves to learn new technologies and apply them to Building Management Systems. He lives by the mantra, “Controls is a lifestyle, not a job.” Outside of CTI, you can find him running, skiing, and relaxing with his family.”
